How do you get to the Sistine Chapel?

First, land yourself in Rome. Be sure to bring clothes that cover your
shoulders and knees, plus 14 euros and a camera. Learn how to turn off
the flash; can't use that light in the museums.

Second, take the Metro. If you do take the bus, take lines 40 or 64.
Follow the nuns when they get off.

If you do stay on until the end of the line - because, logically, the
line says to St. Peter's, right?? - be prepared to walk down a hill a
ways. Be prepared to ask where the $&@ you are going.

Stop and get a scoop of gelato; you'll feel happier about the
scorching heat. You'll be able to see the dome of St. Peter's
Basilica, but you'll be on the wrong side of the wall.

Off to the right eventually and down the stairs is an underpass that
leads you into Vatican City. Unfortunately you don't get your passport
stamped but there are lots of signs for Vatican Post Office mail.
