A little balcony in Florence

Just as we found our hotel - after jumping off the bus at an unknown
stop in confusion, always an exciting way to travel - it started
pouring! Summer in Rome is a lot like Virginia Beach: hot, humid with
an afternoon thunderstorm. Repeat until October.

This is the view from our hotel balcony in Florence. The hotel clerk
says we're about 15 minutes walking from the city center.
