The chef led us outside and pointed to a chalkboard on a wooden pole,
propped against the side of the building. It was all in Italian. He
led us through it, explaining each one in a few words of English.
One he described as pasta with vegetables and cheese, making a circle
with his hands to show, I guessed, ravioli. I had the choice of a ragu
sauce or mint; I picked ragu, or tomato.
This is what came - and it was wonderful! The sauce had small bits of
meat (I have no idea what kind) which provided bursts of flavor
against a bright tomato sauce. Inside was a soft cheese, somewhat like
ricotta at home, with bits of green / maybe spinach?
It looks small, but it was completely filling. And just 5 or 6 euros.
