FY, as in "first year." As in, the first 50% of the two-year MBA program.
I'm not going to get too reflective. My collection of thoughts about the year are wildly diverse. Any rant or gush-fest would be inaccurate. Perhaps one day, I'll write an essay about the case-study method seen through the eyes of an introvert or the amazing, doors-always-open faculty.
But that's all in my rearview mirror now.
Over the past two days, my sister and I have driven through the boringly idyllic Ohio and Indiana farmland, paid countless 70-cent tolls, and finally pulled up to Wheaton, Illinois.
Our brother graduates from college on Sunday. A more perfect Mother's Day gift, I can not conjure up.
And then, come Monday morning, he and I are off on a brother-sister baseball adventure.

We'll hit three ballparks, on my quest to visit every single one. (The challenge is upped because they keep closing stadium and building new ones! Dang it!)
- Target Field, the newest addition to the MLB roster, in beautiful Minneapolis
- Kauffman Stadium, home to the Royals in Kansas City, and apparently (as I was informed tonight at tonight) my dad's favorite ballpark.
- Great American Ballpark (Yes, that's the actual name, apparently after the Great American Insurance Group. Seriously!) in Cincinnati, Ohio, on the Ohio River
Bonus: the Truman Library is on our way, in Independence, MO. Super nerdy, super fun trip back in time. I can't wait.
